5 Minutes Challenge

Here's the deal.
Time slips by us like crazy only if you let it. You can do a lot in 5 minutes. One minute we are doing one thing, the next minute we are doing something else. Most of our time is spent in useless activities. Most people don’t know what they are capable of doing in 5 minutes. Let’s analyze!

Step 1: Pick a Goal.
Let’s pick a goal to achieve in the next 5 minutes.

Step 2: Set a Timer.
Don’t forget to set the timer and put it on 5 minutes. Follow it if you are sitting in an examination room. (I use my iPhone!)

Step 3: Begin

Now see what you are capable of. You’ll achieve towards your goal in the next 5 minutes which you might not do in an hour, I bet. My goal was to write this post and I did it 1 and a half minute before. So now I decide to go above and beyond and share it here.
See how much you can achieve towards your goal within the set amount of time (5 minutes). For example, I told myself I would write this entire post in 5 minutes, so prior to starting, I set my timer, then began my challenge.
Once we go Above and Beyond, we can achieve greater results which include pushing the current goal further. This only happens as a result of spending time in doing right thing at the right time. In other words we can call it setting and achieving goals.
Stephen R. Covey, in his book, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, defines it with the help of four quadrants of time management.  If we don’t spend time in quadrant 2 activities then we are supposed to waste our time on useless activities.

So what's your next 5 minutes goal?

Time's up.

Hajj and Umrah in 2013

Hundreds of thousands of visitors visit the holy cities of Makkah and Madina in Ramazan and Hajj season. But lack of facilities, bias and chaos has never been witnessed. Neither has any accidents occurred. This is enough to witness the best services provided by the Saudi authorities and their awareness of this holy duty given to them by God. They consider it as a gift by God and they are proud of it. God has blessed them as well. Millions of people visit their country and this is enough for their economy even if they didn't have oil.

Accommodation in Makkah and Madina is now becoming difficult. It is the problem of only recent days and is because of current renovation plans being implemented. Thousands of hotels have been demolished and there is a small gap in supply and demand which make visitors a little bit anxious. But still if hotels and transport are booked with some good travel agents, nothing is expensive. There are best deals for hajj and umrah if a person just searches.

Want Success and Power? Never Give up!

Every man in this worlds wants success and power. If you think Sohail Jumani is wrong, just analyse your life and your desires deeply. You'll get the answer! So, the next step should be to make sure that you undertake the following habits which are some of  the golden rules to achieve your goals and lead a satisfied life

1. Take 100% Responsibility for Your Life – Don't blame everything or your parents or government, etc. for your failures. Remember, its always you who's responsible for what you are today. If you regret something and wish to hold someone responsible for what's happening today, just analyse your past, you come to know that it was always your decision and your call to make. When you stop blaming others for your failures, you'll get motivated and encouraged to go ahead and learn from your mistake. Otherwise you'll stop forever!

2. Live Your Life On Purpose - Do you have a Definite Chief Aim? No? Better have it as early in your life as you can. Millions of people fail and die without setting a definite purpose in life. You can never be successful unless you exactly know where you want to go, what you want to become and most important of all, how rich you want to become.

3. Be Willing to Pay the Price - Real and eternal success requires some price to be paid. You want to get a big house, a luxurious car or a great lifestyle? Then you should be willing to pay the price. Nothing is free in this world. Your dreams work. But you can't just have dreams and wait for the hidden hand to fulfil your dreams while you are sleeping.

4. Stay Focused – When you have a definite purpose in your life, stay focused. Always keep it in your mind while you are going to sleep and the first thing when you wake up! Visualise your dreams while you are awaken. When you are focused on your aim, barriers and hurdles are nothing. Because you are not focusing them but your purpose. You always pay attention worry about the things that you focus.

6. Write Out a Plan for Achieving Your Goals - PLANNING PLANNING PLANNING. I've been hearing or coming across the importance of this phrase many times everyday and as a matter of fact I still am unable to understand the importance of this word. Without planning is just like your are going from Karachi to Lahore without a road map. You could end up anywhere in between. Once you have a definite chief aim, make a plan to achieve and you opportunities will be visible to you only then!

7. Never Give Up -

“Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever.” ~ Lance Armstrong

Never never never give up! If you've failed, it's not the end, but for smart people, who want to achieve something really great, its a great opportunity to learn from mistakes.

8. Don’t Delay - Successful people don't rely on tomorrow. Whatever you want to do, try to do it today.

I had a great teacher who used to say, “Today is a check – cash it! Yesterday is an I.O.U. – forget it! Tomorrow is a promissory note, don’t bank on it!” I think that’s a pretty good summation of life, so go out there and cash in on that “today” check.
